Location: Donegan Elementary School
 

   

Applicant must:
• have the ability, willingness, and desire to work and interact in an engaging and hands-on manner with Pre-K students including (but not limited to) participating in center activities, engaging with students on the floor, on the playground, etc.
• be willing to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other adults in the classroom on a daily basis.
• follow daily directions and guidance from the classroom teacher assigned to the Pre-K classroom.
• actively assist with all student meals as well as clean-up routines.
• assist with hand-washing and toilet routines as needed.
• directly interact with Pre-K parents and family members.
• be willing to meet all professional development requirements stated in the Pre-K Counts grant.
The ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is preferred, along with prior working experience with students ages 3-5.

Associates Degree, 48 credits beyond a high school diploma, or a passing grade on the state approved assessment required.
This position is fully paid through grant funds. Therefore, this position will be eliminated if/when the grant is not renewed.
