Shaping the Future.  One Child at a Time.

Pre-Kindergarten in the BASD

The Bethlehem Area School District is proud to offer Pre-K in three of our elementary schools. These Pre-K classrooms are funded through the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts grant. Students in our Pre-K classrooms have many opportunities to learn, play, discover, and grow. We want this year to be filled with fun and exciting activities that will begin students on the path of successful learning experiences and personal development. Although children go through similar stages in the learning process, we understand that children develop at different academic, social, and emotional rates. Our Pre-K classrooms offer support based on each individual child's needs.

Application Process: If you are interested in applying for the DistrictÕs Pre-K program, please contact Mrs. Cynthia Matt, Pre-K secretary, at 610-865-0012 ext. 16818. Applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be accepted until May 12, 2017. Applications received after this date will go on a waitlist.

Eligibility: Students must turn 4 by October 1, 2017 in order to be eligible for enrollment. Please understand that there are a limited number of spots available for students and families who meet specific eligibility criteria. Not all students will be accepted for enrollment into this Pre-K program.
