BASD Technology Integration

One goal of the BASD Technology Department is to equip teachers to effectively use technology to promote student learning. We are currently developing this website to provide educators with curriculum resources to support the use of technology in the classroom.

Technology use in the classroom is a key component to helping students acquire today’s necessary 21st Century Skills. According to the Partnership for 21st Century Schools (http://www.p21.org/), "U.S. schools must align classroom environments with real world environments by fusing the three Rs (reading, writing, and arithmetic) and four Cs." The four Cs are critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation.
