at Bethlehem Area School District

~ General Information ~

Program Offerings:

Wilkes University currently offers two graduate programs at the Bethlehem Area School District. The Master of Science in Education degree with an emphasis in Classroom Technology is a 30-credit program. The Master of Science in Educational Leadership is a 36-credit program to obtain the degree and principal certification.

Both programs require basic computer skills. If a student does not possess basic computer skills, it is recommended that the student enroll in ED 580: Introduction to Educational Computing for Macintosh or Windows for the Classroom Technology Program, or ED 585: Integrating Technology into the Curriculum for the Educational Leadership program. Degree-seeking candidates must have two recommendations and official transcripts sent to Wilkes University from your undergraduate institution.

Non-degree students do not need to submit recommendations and transcripts. If you have been taking courses as a non-degree student but now want to enroll for the master's degree, you must submit another application as a degree-seeking candidate and send the required official transcripts and recommendations.

A maximum of six credits of graduate work already completed at another accredited and recognized institution may be applied toward the requirements for a master's degree. Transfer credits cannot be more than six years old.

There are minimum and maximum enrollment restrictions for all classes. If the minimum enrollment registration is not met, the class will be cancelled. If the maximum enrollment figure for a class is met, the class will be closed.
