Dear Parents,

As the new year begins, I am very excited to meet and begin working with your child. My aspirations this year are that all of my students become quite familiar with several genres in literature such as short stories, novels, drama, and poetry, and also become extremely good writers. At the beginning of each year, we spend a great deal of time mastering the organization of paragraphs and essays. If at any time you need some assistance while helping your child with a writing assignment, I have selected several web sites that may be a great help to you. Simply see my "Favorite Sites" link, and click away. Of course, I am always available at school also. You can call any day during school hours with any concerns or questions you may have. Feel free to browse around this site frequently as I will attempt to keep it updated. I have included several items which I feel can be a big help for all of you throughout the year.
