ProjecTELL Teacher Assistants' Projects
Educational materials for teaching ELLs.

As stated in its mission, one particular focus of ProjecTELL was the improved instruction and school climate for English Language Learners. To that end, many BASD Teacher Assistants completed the ProjecTELL curriculum. In the course of their studies, many of the participants learned how to create exemplary materials for use in ELL instruction. They also produced interesting presentations that explain various facets of ELL instruction.

Materials as part of the ESOL Virtual Learning Community

ProjecTELL also had at its core a clear focus on “best practices” and a commitment to “disseminating strategies for teaching English language learners.” In the proper spirit of ProjecTELL, several of its participants graciously submitted their own projects and plans for inclusion in this ESOL Virtual Learning Community. This is just a small sampling of the quality work these dedicated and hard-working individuals produced.
